Amsterdam ~ October 2009 – With the introduction of the new VoIP 2.0 PBX platform, Axeos launches an advanced business phone exchange. This platform will generate new cost savings to organisations, while allowing them to take full advantage of the latest developments in the VoIP industry. The new release offers innovative and reliable functionality.
What is unique about it
The 2.0 release is wholly Web 2.0 based, enabling both administrators and users to manage the PBX in a simple and efficient way. The platform includes various advanced functions such as: integration with Outlook® and other Office® applications, fax via email, secure remote support, presence, IVR, integrated firewall, ‘smart routing’ to avoid network load when possible and to allow for a simple management system for home and flex office locations.

The software allows you to combine the advantages of ISDN and VoIP to achieve the most optimal setup. Axeos allows its customers to choose the make and model of their IP phones, SIP providers and server hardware. Because the Axeos platform is based on open standards, it allows for integration with CRM or other software.
Efficiency and simplicity
The VoIP services can be used and managed from any location, which stimulates and simplifies working from home or from other remote locations. The entire platform can be managed by using a browser. The Local Service Portal (LSP) and the Service Provider Portal (SPP) are used by administrators to manage all aspects of the PBX, without the requirement of advanced VoIP knowledge. The Setup Wizard helps administrators to setup the entire PBX in seven simple steps. Many IP Phone models can even be automatically configured by the PBX.
Future proof
To stay ahead of technical developments, Axeos has its own development team that specialises in continual enhancement of Axeos platforms. The 2.0 platform is build upon the Axeos Operating System (AOS) which was specially built to function as a solid business VoIP telephony service foundation.
